Imagining New Worlds is a participatory art experience offered by Grandin Art Works. Working with guest artist Wayne Llywelyn and assistants, participants, either in person or via Zoom, will be guided to imagine a world that they will create using supplies provided by Grandin Art Works.
June 9-21 Monday afternoons, 1:30-3 PM (last class July 14, following by reception and student gallery show)
As the supplies include paint (paint pens), appropriate clothing and precautions to protect against errant paint splatter or transfer should be taken. Grandin Art Works will provide the art supplies required for the program at no charge to the participant.
Participants may be sharing, as and only to the extent they wish, personal information and thoughts with guest artist, Wayne Llywelyn, and his assistant(s), and other participants, as well as Grandin Art Works staff, as they imagine new worlds and create these worlds as an art experience.
The program will be conducted over a 7-week period. Classes will be conducted in person and via Zoom each Monday beginning June 7, 2025 beginning at 1:30 PM and continuing until 3:00 PM. The instructional dates are as follows: June 9, June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7, and July 14. Then, on July 21 we will be celebrating your participation with a reception at Grandin Art Works, where the art that you produced will be displayed, or, if you participated via Zoom, with photos that we will ask you to provide.
If you are attending in person please plan on arriving approximately 10 minutes early so that you can get set up and settled in. If you are attending via Zoom you will receive an email link to join the Zoom programming.
This program has limited enrollment. Participants will be accepted until the class is full in order of application date and time.
